Stewarts have generously sponsored this next set of workshops by increasing the arts budget for Nina and local schools to develop a series of art projects. Nina has been involved in running Art Weeks for schools for 8 years and during this time has designed projects to work alongside existing projects, the International Primary Curriculum and projects that build on cross curricular links. This has included supporting Learning Outside the Classroom and the Creative Curriculum as well as enabling Healthy Schools’ outcomes and Enjoy and Achieve.

Projects can be designed to suit your current term's topics, Nina is always happy to give ideas for the content of workshops. You can also ask about funding sources to fund your workshop further for more information about the projects call Nina on 01258 458803.

Little Green Fingers visits Durweston School

Stewarts community arts project, Little Green Fingers, has visited a few schools in the area.
We have worked with Durweston School a few times over the years and they are always very good at being environmentally aware. Most children are involved with growing plants and also use the greenhouse which Stewarts helped provide after an award for their green policies. They are very knowledgeable about the importance of flowers for happy bees and recycling for a happy environment. We made fantastic meadow felts, using images from the fabulous flower meadow from the New Forest Show that Stewarts plant every year. The children also used silk paints and produced recycled wall hangings.
